Scavenger Hunt

Today, we held a scavenger hunt in the vicinity of the hotel, which is in a blue-collar area of Bangkok where the Thai culture is alive and well in the absence of tourists.  Their list of things to find included a lot of things to photograph, a few things to purchase, and to video-record them interacting with elderly Thai people in the Thai language.

Maddie, Sabrina, and Shanon trying to figure out if any of these are jasmine bracelets.  Ally's in the background.

Charlie, Dani, Grace, and Kelsey looking at a fruit vendor's selections.  No rambutan or mangosteens here...

A Siamese cat was on the list to photograph.  This one counts, even with mange and ringworm.

They had to compete to photograph the biggest tangled mess of wires.  Here's the winner.  Cam is posing for perspective.  Notice the low-hanging wire to the right... one of my earlier warnings.

Ally found a no-durian sign.

Here's a jasmine bracelet!

Meat on a stick.

Soup in a bag.

Mmmmm... chicken feet.
