It begins here

We had our annual scuba class with Captain Nemo's dive shop in August and September this year.  This was necessary preparation for spending seven days scuba diving during our coral reef conservation studies in the Phi Phi Islands.

Class and pool sessions were held in Columbia, but the open water dives were at Bull Shoals Lake in Arkansas.  Here the kids are assembling their gear.
Here's a group photo of everyone but Ally, who got her certification on a different day.  Happiness is lifelong open-water scuba certification.
